Obituary of Eva Perduk
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Eva Perduk announces the passing of their beloved mother. Eva passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital Met Campus, November 9, 2014 at the age of 87. Born in Pembroke, Ontario, she came to Windsor, Ontario in 1946 after serving in the war effort. She worked as a secretary and stenographer. Predeceased by husband Nicholas Perduk (1987), partner William Popowich (2009), brother Lorne Valiquet, and sister Alexina McDonough. Survived by beloved sister, Irene Valiquet. Cherished mother to Natalie Lozynsky (Walter), Steven Perduk (Cynthia), and Mary Perduk (Chris). Loving grand parent of John Lozynsky, Michael Lozynsky, Nicholas Perduk, and Lauren Perduk. Great grand parent of Julia Lozynsky. She is remembered by her many years of service at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church. She was a long-time member of the Choir and served as past president of the Catholic Women"s League. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, November 13, 2014 from 3-5 and from 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home then to Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Rt. Rev. Fr. Eugene Halitsky officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
