Obituary of Jerome Vincent Brown

BROWN, Jerome "Jerry" Died at the age of 78 on November 7, 2014 after suffering from complications relating to Parkinson"s disease. Will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Esther (nee Vella). Dearest father to Terence, James (Wendy) and John Paul. Cherished grandfather to Sophie. Jerry is reunited with his parents George and Nora, and siblings James and Mary Ann. Jerry received a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, as well as a Licentiate in Medieval Studies (M.S.L.) from the Pontifical Institute of Medieval Studies (St. Michael"s College). He retired from the University of Windsor after 40 years as a professor of philosophy. Visitation on November 12, 2014 at St. Theresa"s Church (1991 Norman Rd.) at 10:00 A.M. followed by funeral mass at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. Interment to follow at Holy Angels Cemetery in St. Thomas, Ontario.
