CARSON, Katie (nee Choropita) February 22, 1922 " October 22, 2014 Katie left the loving arms of her family here on earth to the arms of the Lord and her loving family in Heaven. Dearest wife and best friend to Eddie (1984). Beloved mother to Wayne (2011) & Alice, Denis & Kathy, Ron (2003) & Therese, Mary Anne & Dave Aitken, Paul & Kristine, and Peter. Adored grandmother to Tracy & Alan, Brian & Melissa, Julie & Carey, Dawn, Jeffery & Natalie, Eric, Robert & Amber, Kevin, Jenna and Jared. Best great-grandmother to Benjamin, Abbey, Kaitlin, Brianna, Lily, Boston, Nathan, Tristan, Brody, Brooklyn, Rebecca and Katie. Predeceased by her parents Lena & Wasyl and siblings Elsie, George, John, Eli, Mary, Peter, and Nellie. Katie was a 25 year volunteer for Cancer Society. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all our friends, home care workers and to her "home away from home" Riverside Place for all their love.
