Obituary of Adelina Martino

MARTINO, Adelina ( nee Frangella ) Peacefully on September 25, 2014 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89 years. Waiting with open arms is her beloved husband Francesco ( 1999 ) and grandaughter Christina ( 2012 ). Loving mama to Sara (Danny ) Summer. Beloved stepmother to Pina ( Genesio ) Aquino, Nicola ( Diana ) Martino, Santino ( Darlene ) Martino, Leanne ( Steve ) Faulkner. Adored Nonna to Maria ( David ) Holjevac, Danny Aquino ( Anna ), Frank Martino, Jamie and Stephanie Faulkner, Meaghan Martino, Adele and Matteo Summer. Cherished bis-nonna to Isabella & Trinity Aquino and Emilie & Christopher Holjevac. Predeceased by parents Salvatore & Luigina Frangella. Survived by sisters Anna ( late Carmine ), Dora ( late Simone ) and brother Giovanni ( Carolina ), predeceased by brother Carmen ( survived by wife Anna ), and predeceased by sisters and brothers-in law Rafelle ( Vincenzo) and Melinda (Salvatore). Survived by sister in law Marietta ( late Vittorio ). Adelina will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews through out Europe and Canada. Her passions in life were cooking with love for her family and spending quality time with those she loved the most. Funeral service will begin on Tuesday September 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM from the Banwell Chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
