Obituary of Caterina Apolloni

APOLLONI, Caterina (nee Basile) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Caterina who passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on September 18, 2014 in Windsor, ON at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 41 years of Camillo. Loving mother of Mario (Mary), the late Giovanni (1975), Gianni (Rachelle), and Susi (Salvatore). Cherished Nonna of Andrea, Chantel, Alessandro, Vanessa, and Salvatore. Lovingly remembered by her siblings Gianni (Olga), Guiseppe (Filomena), Francesco (Maria), Mario (Teresa), and Iolanda (the late Luigi). Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Rosa Basile. Caterina will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral service on Monday, September 22, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Caterina to the Alzheimer"s Society of Windsor Essex County or the Brain Injury Association of Windsor Essex County are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
