Obituary of Ivan Stankovic

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ivan Stankovic on July 13, 2020 at the age of 69. He is survived by his wife Rita (nee Jankulovska) of 45 years, children Aleks (Asia) and Stefany (Thomas), and grandchildren Oliver and Jakub. Predeceased by his parents Radisav and Stefanka, and his brother Ljubisa. Ivan immigrated to Canada in 1976, where he worked for Ford before starting his own carpentry business. He was well known in the community, had a love for music, and was larger than life. A sincere thank you to the staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital who took care of Ivan on many occasions. A private funeral service will take place with the family at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
