From the first day I met Ted as a little girl at their Sumach home to our final visit a few weeks back, he was nothing but calm, welcoming, caring and kind. A gentle giant. Ted and I were maid of honour and best man at Bonnie and Greg's wedding godparents to their children together and spent every Christmas together. His love for sports lead to many interesting discussions. He fought this battle with courage and dignity, and I for one am so happy to have had the opportunity to know, love, and to have him in my family. You will certainly be missed my friend, but I take comfort in the fact that you will have rink side seats at every hockey game. Until we meet again.
