MAEDEL, Joan Marie "Joanie" (nee Marentette) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Joanie on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the age of 60. Born in Windsor, dear daughter of the late Irvin & Bernadette Marentette and the late John & Lenore Telford. Beloved wife of Doug Maedel for 30 years. Loving step mother of Chris Douglas Maedel of Texas. Proud and loving grandmother of Kirsten and Carson. Dear sister of Ron Marentette (Mary), Mary Marentette (Karen), Barbara Nantais (late Len), Catherine Phillips (late Kent), and the late Larry Marentette. Joan is lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joan & Doug enjoyed spending summers boating and travelling around to car shows, and she was happy to win big while doing a little online gaming. E on Friday, July 18, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at a later date.
