I would like to offer our deepest sympathy to your family, especially the grandchildren. Grandma's are special people. Hold her love and memories close to your hearts always. Claudette, Bob, Michel and Nicole Clement
Sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember different times that your mother would be in Boston visiting her sister, Anne. We would have her over for dinner and sometimes to the Canadian-American Club if there was something going on. She had a great sense of humor. Try to remember the happy times even though this is a terrible tragedy to go through. She is watching over you all.
It is with a heavy heart that I learned of Gertie's tragic death. She was a kind loving lady who would cheer you with her smile. We took several courses together at the University and we also worked in the same school for two years. During that time we became friends and have remained so. We shared a love of CB music and I am so thankful both she and Sinclair joined us for the same in our new CB home. God bless you dear lady and may you rest in eternal peace.
My heart aches for the entire Hawley family. May you all find comfort knowing that the Lord has a special place for Gertie in heaven. Rest in Peace now Gertrude, I loved you dearly and will miss you greatly.
