Obituary of Charles Sadi

SADI, Charles Passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord, with his family by his side at Windsor Regional Hospital on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the age of 81. Loving husband of Catherine (Hallo) Sadi for 54 years. Dear father of Jeraline Sadi, Jackie Sadi, Emily (Andre) Ducharme, Annie (David) Knill. Proud "Jidi" of Sadie, Faith, and Matthew Knill, and Andre Jr. and Olivia Ducharme. Charlie was the son of the late Albert and Emilie Sadi and is survived by his brother Phil (Nasa) Sadi, and sisters Rose (Ed) Latouf and Nadia (Elias) Akouri. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews; Charlie was brother-in-law to Theresa Hallo, the late Evelyn (Gary) Mazloumian, Joanne (the late Joe) Hebert, the late MaryAnn (Nick Krayacich). Charlie will be eternally grateful to the late Joe and Nellie Matta. He had a love for people and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus (Council 1453), the 4th Degree (Dean Wagner Assembly), and the United Society of Hasroun. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9pm. A 3rd degree Knights of Columbus prayer service on Tuesday, at 7:30 pm followed by 4th degree prayers. Parish Prayers at 8pm. Relatives and friends are requested to gather on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2014 at 10:00 am at Ste. Anne Church, Tecumseh (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family.
