Obituary of Jean-Paul Wilfred Papineau

PAPINEAU, JEAN-PAUL With broken hearts we announce the death of the husband and soul mate of Carole and father of their children, Jean Fran"ois, Gabrielle and Kelly Roth, on June 16th 2014, at the age of 58. His passing was no doubt attended by an honour guard of angels. Predeceased by his parents Eugene and Lorraine Papineau. Son-in-law of Carmen Labonne. Loving brother of Yvonne Vickerd (Dan), Pauline Burnand (Rick), Marie-Jeanne Mailloux (John) and Maurice Papineau (Kelly).Cherished brother-in-law of Normand Pr"vost (Jacqueline), Marie-Paule Dubois (Andr"), Marcel Pr"vost, Robert Pr"vost (Huguette), Danielle G"linas (Guy), R"jeanne Bracken (2003) (Ernie and Mary), Guy Bessette (2012) and Roch Bessette (2003). Lovingly adored by his godchildren, Danielle Vickerd and Michel G"linas. Also loved and survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Jean-Paul was one of a kind. He loved his family beyond all measure. He would be giddy as a schoolboy on his way home to see his wife and his pride in his kids shone through his eyes and his irrepressible smile. Committed partner, with his brother Maurice, of Clover Leaf Farms, and long-time dedicated driver for Vickerd Bros/Rims. JP could often be seen with his steady "hands on the wheel", whether out on the highway, moving from farm to field, or lining up perfect rows of fresh cut grass. He had his "hands on the wheel" in all aspects of his life, as he was devoted to being the best husband, father, brother, uncle and friend that he could be. May everyone find and cherish a JP in their lives. As he was fond of saying, he was "Just passin" thru..." And we are so grateful that he did. Special thanks to Wes Heath and to the compassionate physicians and nurses, especially Tammy, Sarah and Erin.
