Obituary of Antun Lekic

Passed away peacefully on July 7, 2020 at 92 years of age. Loving husband of the late Slavica (nee Katic) (2005). Proud father of Danica (Mike Zokvic). Beloved Dida of Sandy (Robert Zgomba) and Mark Zokvic (Martina). Special Dida Ante of Veronika, Isabela and Lana. Dear uncle of Slavko Lekic (Carolina). Brother in-law of Ljubica Katic. Antun is also survived by many other relatives in both Canada, Croatia and Germany. Antun was a founding parishioner that helped build the current St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. O. Tarabain and Dr. C Johnston, as well as nurses Autumn, Doina, Michelle and Krista. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday July 10, 2020 from 4-8pm. A Private Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday July 11, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church (1701 Turner Rd., Windsor). Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. PLEASE NOTE: ANYONE INVITED BY THE FAMILY TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL MASS OR INTERMENT MUST WEAR A MASK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church-Building Fund.
