Obituary of Marie Diamante

Diamante, Marie "Mert" (nee Levesque) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Marie on May 21, 2014 with family by her side. Beloved wife of 51 years to Luigi Diamante. Loving mother of Nancy and Tony Pacini and Paul and Loredanna Diamante. Proud Nonna of Jenna and Anna Diamante and Alycia and Jonathan Pacini. Daughter of the late Lawrence and Rose Levesque. Treasured sister of Mary Ann Murphy (Larry), Jeannette Hastings (late Tom), Laurette Ireland (Chuck), Lawrence Levesque (Joannie), Evelyn "Cookie" Murphy (late Mike), Margaret Berry (Fred), Jo-Anne Dufault (late Ron), and the late Phillip Levesque. Sister in law to Edda Nicodemo (late Gino), Nella Nicodemo (late Severino), Lilia Diamante (late Mario), and Paolina Nadalin (late Severino) of Italy. Marie will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends in Canada and Italy. She had a great love of canning and loved when everyone wanted samples. She loved entertaining at the family gatherings as a clown, giving her great pleasure in seeing joy and laughter on the kids faces. Her greatest passion was bingo. Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday May 23, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm Prayers 4:30 pm. Funeral Saturday May 24, 2014 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
