Obituary of Jules Leon Janisse

JANISSE - Jules Leon A man of great pride and love. Passed away peacefully on May 20, 2014, surrounded by his much loved family that was so important to him. He will be deeply missed by the love of his life his devoted wife to whom he recently shared 50 years of marriage on May 16, 2014 Joyce Ann (nee Landry). Loving and best dad to Leon and his wife Lesley (nee Turton), and Michael and his wife Juliana (nee Santos). Reunited with his loving son Gabriel (1981). Cherished and loved grandpa by his grandchildren to whom he would do anything for Chelsea, Zachary, Braeden, Connory, Isaiah, Noah Janisse , Antonio and Alex Santos. Dearest big brother to Julianne and husband Alfred Mion, Marie Jean and husband Randy Janisse, the late Albemy (2006). Dear brother-in-law of Sharon Janisse (nee Mulvaney). Loving son of the late Francis Louis & Marie Louise (Nee Noel). Dear uncle to nieces and nephews and their families, Renata (John), Vanda (Alan), Eric (Tracy), Christopher (Julie), James, Dr. Francis (Gloria), Philip (Dawn) and Renee (Scott). He will be deeply missed by all his employees and their families for he was the best boss. His hard work and dedication to the end will never be forgotten. He was the 4th generation owner and operator along with his late brother Albemy of Windsor Chapel Funeral Home Ltd. and this will be carried on for the 5th generation by his son and nephews and Janisse family as this was his legacy to pass on. His compassion and caring heart to many families in the Windsor/Essex area will be carried forward to represent what he stood for. He was a lifelong member of the 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus Bishop T. Kidd Council #4924 & the 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Dean Wagner Assembly #0862, lifelong member of the Loyal Order of Moose, member of U.C.T. and a faithful member of Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory Site). Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOMES LTD. (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 7 to 9pm and Thursday May 22, 2014 from 2 to 9pm. 3rd degree Knights of Columbus prayers on Thursday at 4:30pm followed by 4th degree prayers. Funeral services on Friday May 23, 2014 leaving the funeral home at 11:15am to Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory's Site) for Mass of the Resurrection at 12:00pm.
