Obituary of Elizabeth Gallina

GALLINA, Elizabetta Corina 91 years, passed peacefully on May 17, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Giorgio (1996). Loving mother to Tony and life mate Colleen. Beloved Nonna to Matthew and wife Sarah, Sondra and partner Jon. Special friend to Betty Peltier. Survived by brother Beniamino and wife Giovanna Gatti, and sister-in law Luigia Gatti. Predeceased by her parents Luigi and Antonia Gatti, and brothers, Andrea, Antonio (Theresa), Umberto (Armida), Luigi (Ida), and sisters Giuseppina (Guiseppe Carnelos), Maria (Giacomo Carnelos) and Anna (Vandi Ferrari). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Thursday May 22, 2014 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with Parish prayers at 4:30pm on Thursday. Funeral services on Friday May 23, at 9:15am from the funeral home then to Our Lady of Perpetual Help for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke and the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
