Doe, Joseph "Ray" Peacefully with family by his side on May 10, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Loving husband to Linda (nee Lucier) of 34 years; predeceased by his loving and special friend Gloria (2010). Predeceased by his parents Alec and Lorraine. Beloved father to Gary (Debbie ) Doe; Laurie Gregory and Mike Wilkinson; and Michael (Brenda) Doe. Cherished Pip to Shawn (Jen), Robbie (Rachelle), Ryan (Natasha), Randy (Theires), Christa (Derek), Ashley, and 3 step grandchildren. Dear son in-law to Anna Marie Lucier and the late Russel. Dear great grandfather to Hadley, Aidan, 5 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild. Dear brother to Florence ( the late Russell), Orlena Tabor, Pauline (the late Lorne) Salmon, the late Lloyd (surviving wife Marie), the late Phyllis and Al Fraess, the late Frank (surviving wife Elvira) Tanner and the late Edmund (surviving wife Delisle). Dear brother in law to Marty Lucier (Jean MacNeil), Connie Tiffin (the late Larry), Vicki Scherer (Roy Fox), Jeff Lucier (Sandy) and Genevieve Lucier. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Ray was an officer for the Teamsters Local #880, former executor of the Western Ontario Stock Car Racing Association, and inducted into the Checker Flag Hall of Fame. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday May 13, 2014 from 3-5 pm and from 7 pm until time of Funeral Service in the chapel at 8pm. A private interment will take place on Wednesday May 14, 2014.
