Obituary of Robin Frederick Mathias

MATHIAS, Bob "Coach" Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the age of 60 years. Loving father of Rob (Sara Garbus), and Mat. Cherished grandfather of Cyanea. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Jon, Shari Burrows and husband Dave, Dave Mathias and wife Eleanor, the late Bill Mathias, Lori Mathias (Jeff Colledge), and Sue Stavridis and husband Chris. Bob is predeceased by his parents Mansfield and Lil Mathias and survived by his aunt Mabel McQueen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob, affectionately known as "Coach" was a football coach for several years in the Windsor Minor Football League where he coached the tykes of Club 240 (AKO). The impact he had on all of the kids he coached over the years will be felt for generations. Bob also worked for Ford Motor Company for over 30 years. He was a member of C.A.W. Local 200.
