Hello my name is Jessica. I'm sorry I don't know your family but I was very touched by the tragic story of Katie I saw on the news. I wanted to share with you something that has brought me great comfort in times of grief. The scriptures assure us that bad and good can happen at anytime to anyone for no reason. Ecclesiastes 9:11 says that time and unexpected events overtake us all. Since 1 John 5:19 confirms that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one (devil), we can be sure to face many problems and challenges. Our heavenly father Jehovah is saddened by these events and longs to restore all humans and the Earth to a perfect state like it was when he first created it. He also assures us of a future Earthly resurrection at John 5:28,29, when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. We all long for the promises mentioned at Psalm 37:10,11,29 when all wickedness will be gone and the righteous can live forever on Earth in peace. It is my desire that you will come to learn more about these promises from Jehovah to gain comfort and hope for a future time when death will be no more as stated at Revelation 21:4.
