Obituary of Stjepan Peretin

PERETIN, Stjepan "Steve" Passed away peacefully on April 2, 2014 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met. Campus, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 73 years. Beloved husband to Marica (nee Zvonaric), with whom he celebrated 49 years of marriage. Loving and devoted father to Zelko and wife Julie Peretin; and Jasna Peretin. Cherished "Deda" to his adored grandchildren: Brittany, Stephanie, and Justin Peretin. Dear brother to Katica and husband Tony Zvonaric; and predeceased by brother Drago Peretin (2008). Also survived by niece Maryann Romano (Louie) and their children Nicholas, Michael and Daniel, and family in Croatia and Canada. Steve was a retired and dedicated employee with 25 years of service at General Motors of Canada. He was also a faithful and devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church. E. on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
