Obituary of Claire Beaulne-Chauvin

BEAULNE-CHAUVIN, Claire (nee Germain) Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Copper Terrace Nursing Home in Chatham at the age of 85. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years Jeremie Beaulne (1999) and the late Edmond Chauvin (2007). Loving mother of Lise Tulen (James), the late Denise Beaulne, Denis Beaulne (Anna), Guy Beaulne (Janice), and Anne Beaulne and friend Ginny Riley. Loving step mother of 8 Chauvin children and their families. Cherished grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her 4 brothers and sisters. Claire will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Claire, along with her husband Jeremie, were long standing members of L"Age D"or and also founding members of many of the French Canadian clubs in Windsor and area. She was also the manager at Richelieu Apartment buildings. The family would like to say Thank You to the staff at Copper Terrace Nursing Home in Chatham for their compassionate care for mom over the past 6 years. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral services on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Jerome Church (3739 Ypres St.) for funeral mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. In honour of Claire, donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor Essex County are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
