Obituary of Mary Becic

BECIC, Mary (nee Beiko) February 6, 1941 - February 27, 2014 It is with unbearable sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mary. She will be missed terribly by her husband John, son John (Heather), late parents Sophie and Emanuel "Mike", brother Bill (Audrey-predeceased), nieces and nephew Debra (Bob), David (Louise), Angela (Mike), and great nephews Timothe, Thierry, Paul, John Mackenzie, Hunter, and great niece Annie. Dear cousin of Beverly VanSickle Holmes (John), godmother and cousin of Chris VanSickle (Lisa), cousin of Sherri-Lee (Rick) Breaton, and dear friend to many. Mary was an Ontario scholar and valedictorian of her high school class, starting her career at Hiram Walker and later working over 40 years at General Motors. She was an unwavering pillar in the face of many challenges, accepting no boundaries to what she could accomplish for her family. A nurturing and devoted mother, sister, and aunt, she was fiercely loyal and gave endlessly. Mary"s love of family was evident in the great interest she took in their lives and accomplishments. Mary"s quiet courage, loving smile and strength of spirit will be carried in our hearts forever. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
