DEL COL, ELIGIO With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of Eligio Del Col on February 28, 2014 at the age of 88. Born June 2, 1925 in Pratulone, Italy. Beloved and loving husband of 62 years to Maria (nee Mascherin). Devoted father of Christine and husband Les Dean and Frank and wife Kim Del Col. Cherished and much loved Nonno to Melissa (Christopher Bernardon) and Robert Dean, Tracey and husband Jeff Denniss, Kelley (Jamie Burch) Del Col, Ryan and Ally Del Col. Cherished Biz-Nonno to Tyler, Jake, Chase and Quinn. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Eligio was a master brick- layer, his many designs and projects will be treasured always to keep his memories alive. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his roses. We will definitely miss your humour and playful personality. You always had a quick response, funny comment, and made our lives all the better. Even in your weakest moments, you put your family first and greeted them with a smile. Eligio was a member of the Fogolar Furlan. A special thank you to those who so lovingly cared for Eligio during the last months of his life, especially Dr. R Chow. A sincere thanks to all the family and friends who provided support and encouragement during this time.
