Obituary of Alan Severs

SEVERS, Alan Peacefully and surrounded by his family, we are sad to announce the loss of our "Big Al", Husband, Dad, Papa and Pops on January 28, 2014 at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband to Rita sharing 62 years of marriage. Loving dad to Deborah, Julie (Larry) and David (Beth). Cherished grandfather to Erin, Philip (Chantal), Greg (Katee), Ryan (1987), Alex (Kait), Katie, Rylee and Keira. Great grandfather to Allison, Hunter, Colton, Gavin and Khloee. Dear brother of Joan. Brother in-law to Barry & Liz, Jean & Marlene. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Alan was the founder and owner of Newport Design and Acklam Drafting for 46 years and he received the History of Strength Award for 60 years of service in the Steel Industry.
