Obituary of Goffredo Chiodo

CHIODO, Goffredo Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on January 23, 2014 at the age of 84 years. Loving and cherished husband of 64 years to Luisa (nee Perrone). Beloved father to Angela Rosa Boccarossa & husband Donato, Felicetta Zanella, survived by her husband Elio, Trisa Villella & husband Antonio, Felice Chiodo & wife Daniela, Dino Chiodo & wife Deborah. Caro Nonno to Luisa, Renata, Nadia & husband Norman, Tania & husband Rick, Gerardo & wife Rachel, Lora & husband Virginio, Daniele, Rosalind, Jennifer, Massimo and Brooklynn. Caro Bis-nonno to Chelsea, Landon, Sabrina, Patrick, Erica, Bianca, Alex, Dante, Cora, Alannah and Elizabeth. From Italy predeceased by his parents Felice and Francesca. Loving brother to late Vincenzo Chiodo, Angelina Brettone survived by Vittorio, Christina Petrisano survived by Eugenio, Eleonora and husband Vittorio Cimino, Attilio Chiodo survived by Anna, Vincenzo Chiodo and wife Laura, Ottavio Chiodo and wife Albertina, Mirella and husband Mario Rubettino, Anna Chiodo, Cladinoro Chiodo with all respective families and friends, also survived by many sisters & brothers in-law. Goffredo will be missed by all that knew him. His sincerity, generosity and the help he provided to many was never ending. He was always there if needed or asked. His passion for hunting was ever growing with the love for the outdoors and a green thumb, eager to teach his skill. He loved life and worked hard to keep the ones around him united. His love if you knew him was endless! Goffredo was also a proud member of Local 444 CAW, now Unifor, and a retired employee of Chrysler Canada. E. at Banwell Rd. on Saturday January 25, 2014 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm, Sunday January 26, 2014 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers Sunday at 4:30 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday January 27, 2014 at 8:30 am from the Banwell chapel then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral Mass at 9:30 am.
