Obituary of Katica Cvitkovic

CVITKOVIC, Katica "Kathy" (nee Lorkovic) Born on May 27, 1935 in Dubravci, Croatia. It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of a beloved Wife, Mother and "Babi" on January 11, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 57 years to Pavao "Paul". Loving and devoted mother to Mirica Hermle (Cvitkovic). Cherished "Babi" to Katrina. Dear sister to Ana Frketic and late husband Marko, Nevenka Pocrnic; all of Windsor, and Barka Barsic and late husband Ivan of Croatia . Predeceased by parents Mirko and Ana Lorkovic, brother Josip Lorkovic and surviving wife Kata, and sisters Dragica, Zorka and Maca. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada, U.S.A., Croatia and Germany. Kathy retired from the housekeeping department at Hotel-Dieu Hospital after many years of dedicated service. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel), 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Services on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
