Obituary of Edward Mroczkowski

Edward Mroczkowski This is the story of our Uncle Ed. He was born on November 1, 1918 and passed to his next journey on January 9, 2014. Predeceased by his parents Paulina and Aloys, sisters Helen and Elsie, brothers Ted, Frank, and Cass. At the age of twenty-one he was placed in the care of the Oxford Regional Centre in Woodstock Ontario for treatment of his epilepsy. He remained there for fifty years. The centre then closed and along with two of his buddies from the centre, moved back to Windsor Ontario where they have lived at the Lilac House in care of Community Living Windsor for the past twenty"four years. Uncle Ed was very grateful for the genuine care and love he received from the dedicated caregivers at Lilac House. All of you were truly part of his family. Special thank you to Dr. Bill Pignanelli for taking care of Ed over the years. We love you so very much Uncle Ed. You were a kind and gentle soul. Rest in peace, your loving nieces and nephews.
