Obituary of Ellen Domsic

DOMSIC, Ellen "Jelka" (nee Mihalic)<br/>It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ellen, our loving Mama and Baba, on June 25, 2020 at the age of 89 years. Reunited with her beloved husband, Mijo (2008) with whom she celebrated 52 years of marriage. Loving and devoted mother to Zeljko Domsic and wife Branka. Cherished Baba to Anne Marie Domsic ( Arkadiusz Martyniak), and Samantha Domsic. Dear sister to Barka Domsic and late husband Petar, of Croatia. and the late Mijo Mihalic (1988). Adored "Teta Jelka" to many nieces and nephews in Croatia and Canada. Ellen was a faithful and devout member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her unconditional love to her family and many friends. Her pride and joy in her life was her family, especially her granddaughters, Anne Marie and Samantha. Ellen loved working in her garden, baking, and in true baba-style, ensuring no one was ever hungry. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thank you to the caring and exceptional staff at Brouillette Manor for their compassionate care provided to Ellen. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, June 28, 2020 from 1:30pm - 4:30pm and 7pm-9pm. A Funeral Mass to Celebrate Ellen's life will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at 10:30am at St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church (1701 Turner Rd., Windsor). Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, <strong> PLEASE NOTE: ANYONE WISHING TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL MASS IS REQUESTED TO MAKE A RESERVATION BY CONTACTING WINDSOR CHAPEL AT 519.253.7234 ON SATURDAY, JUNE 27, 2020 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8:30AM AND 4PM. ONLY THOSE WITH A RESERVATION WILL BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND THE FUNERAL MASS AND CEMETERY COMMITTAL SERVICES.
