Obituary of Cristina Simiele

SIMIELE, Cristina (nee Fiorvento) Went to meet her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 6, 2014 at 88 years of age. Beloved wife of Antonio Simiele for 55 years. Cristina is predeceased by parents Annunziata and Libero Fiorvento. Loving mother to Pierina Corvo and husband Alberto (Italy), Angela Ciolli & husband Frank, Vittoria Simiele & husband Bill. Compassionate grandmother and great grandmother to Rita Gidillini & husband Robert, John Ciolli, Michael & David Khatib, Tomasso Corvo, Onorina Corvo & husband Massimo and Angelo Corvo. Great grandchildren Deanna & Daniel Gidillini and Greta Osso. Loving sister to Giuseppe Fiorvento, Donata Valente and Nicola Fiorvento; predeceased Antonio Fiorvento and Giuseppina Fiorvento. Cristina will be missed by many friends and neighbours who loved her and enjoyed her ever generous and giving spirit. We will all miss her talent of cooking and baking, especially her famous biscotti, pizza and lasagna. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. Everyone is welcome to join the family for visitation on Thursday January 9, 2014 from 10:00 am at the Banwell Chapel, followed by Prayers at 11:15 am with a procession to Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Drive) for Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Cristina, donations may be made to the Italian Handicapable Association.
