Obituary of Marcella Adrienne Marie Jacob

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beautiful woman at the age of 82, on December 29, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at WRH- Met Campus surrounded by the extraordinary love of her family. Predeceased by her parents Jerome and Aline. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Devoted and loving mother of Dana Jacob, Denise Jacob and Brian Wolfe, Richard Jacob and Silvana Ventura. Cherished grandmother of Jocelyn Jacob(Ryan Mataseje), Sean Jacob and Dana Wolfe. Step Great grandmother of Emma. Most precious mother-in-law to Jocelyn Jacob and Karen Jacob. Dear sister of the late Roumand and late Tina, late Roger and Doris, the late Roderique, late Paul and Marjorie, Jaqueline and John, late Gabriel and Annette, Andre and Patricia, Leo and Marie, Maxine and Phil, late Maryanne, Jerome and Mona, Robert and Connie, Charles and late Colette and Jeannette and Richard. Dear sister-in-law of Phil and Victoria Jacob and Bob and Julia Reddam. Mom with be missed by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and life long friends. Mom had a very strong work ethic and was employed by Electroline for 25 years and then with the Windsor Star for 27 years before retiring. After retiring, mom enjoyed many things including relaxing with her books, daily walks, gardening and her occasional beverage "Blue Light". Mom was kind, fun loving and had great sense of humour. She was a starlet beauty and anyone who knew her loved her. A very special thank- you to Dr. Wallace Liang for your compassionate and loving care to our mom and all of our family during our time of need, you are a true professional. A sincere thank- you also to Hospice, Cancer Clinic, 8 north nursing staff ,C.C.A.C and especially mom"s nurse Alaa from Para-med, when we opened the door moms eyes lit up. Alaa, you were her daily dose of sunshine. Memorial Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME(Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday January 2, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on Friday January 3,2014 at 11:30a.m. in the Chapel.
