Obituary of John Jaworski

Passed away on June 14, 2020 at 94 years. Loving husband of Lorraine for 66 years. Caring father of John Jr. (Ann), and Daniel (Michele). Proud dziadzi of Lauren, Joseph, Andrea, and Steven. Cherished brother of Marysia Herbot in Poland and predeceased by his siblings Stan, Christine, Barbara, Leokadia, Aniela. Dear brother-in-law of Jean Bromaroff. John will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews in Poland, Australia, and Canada. John was born in Szamotuly, Poznan, Poland and came to Canada in 1947, after surviving WWII. When John first arrived in Canada, he worked as a lumberjack and continued working in the tool and die industry. He was an active member of Holy Trinity Parish, the Polish Vets P.L.126 and a member of Dom Polski. John Retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 years. In his spare time, John enjoyed cycling, swimming, volleyball, and fishing. A special thank you to the staff at Berkshire Care Centre for their care and compassion. Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery on Wednesday, June 17, 2020. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234.
