Obituary of Janice Price
On Wednesday January 1st, 2020, Janice Price, loving partner, friend and beloved mother of two, sadly passed away at the age of 58. Janice was born on July 13th, 1961 in Windsor, Ontario.
Janice lived in various locations in Ontario such as Kitchener, London and Lasalle, finally settling in Windsor. She worked in the land registry office closely along side her mother. Janice’s passion and talent was art, she loved painting and she was an avid music lover. She was always working on an artistic project, whether she was painting eyeglass cases or full wall murals, she was at peace with her artwork. Her paintings were admired by family and friends alike. Janice also had a love for gardening and had an extraordinary green thumb. Everything she touched grew beyond belief. Janice enjoyed cooking and everyone that tasted her creations enjoyed her cooking too. She was not afraid to experiment and try the most difficult recipes. Her cooking was predictably delicious, she poured her heart and soul into each meal, often using fresh ingredients from her wonderful gardens. Janice had a passion for her dogs especially her long-time partner in crime, Angus. She was a true animal lover, always offering her dog sitting services to many friends and family members. Janice was known for her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, her passionate spirit and her quick wit. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by many. Janice is survived by her partner in art and cooking, best friend and husband of 10 years, Joe Hall. Wonderful Mother to Reannon Price (Eric Welton) and Logan Price (Brooke Drakich), and exceptional Stepmother to Heather Hall (Josh Masse) and Wesley Hall. Beloved Grandmother to June, Arlo, Evan and Lucas and a caring Sister to Susan Tracey, Linda Benson and Richard Benson. Loving Aunt to Connor, Taylor, Charlotte, Karly and Mitchell. Also survived by her Stepmother Beverley Tracey, and her very best friend and cousin Cheryl Garvey. Janice is predeceased by her Father and Mother, Donald Tracey and Elaine Tracey-Friest and Brother in law Michael Kyryliuk. Family and friends are invited to gather at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E 519-253-7234 on Saturday January 11, 2020, to celebrate her life from 2pm to 4pm.
