Obituary of Jane Jo-ann Fields

Fields, Jane (nee Scodellaro) Peacefully entered into Eternal Life at the age of 97 years on August 29, 2013. Loving wife of the late Francis Fields. Dear mother to Randy (Nancy), Marlane Parris (Bob) and Francine. Loved Nana to Scott (Sophia), Andrew (Colette), Christie (Daryl) and Michael (Kealy). Daughter of the late Joseph and Amabile Scodellaro. Predeceased by her brothers Arnold, Bill, Dewey, Gus and sisters Bruna and Nellie. Jane dedicated many years to the St. Rose Mission Club, Glengarda, Meals on Wheels, and received a reward for her work in Patterning at Children"s Achievement Centre. She will always be remembered by her numerous acts of kindness and love which she shared with everyone; so much that she became a day mom to the Wilson Family in Riverside. Special thanks to Stephanie, Laura, Sandra, Paulette, Ann Marie, and Michelle and all the staff at Sunrise for making her life and home loving. Also to all the staff at Devonshire and Tecumseh Extendicare. Cremation has taken place. With joy we celebrate her life with a Memorial Mass on Saturday October 19, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (834 Raymo Road, Windsor, Ontario) at 11:00 am. If attending please send no flowers but remember a story to share, or a donation to the Windsor Essex Humane Society or to the Canadian Food for Children.
