Obituary of Teresa Sanson

Sanson (nee Pasquali), Teresa<br/><br/>With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother Teresa at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus at the age of 85. She passed away peacefully with her son's by her side on June 11th, 2020. Devoted and loving wife of the late Severino Sanson (1977). Dear mother of Marco (Teresa) and Eddy. Beloved nonna of Theresa, LeeAnne, Natalie and Jessica. Sister to late Anna, Palmira, Antonietta, Clara and late Sergio. Zia to Milena (Enzo Piazza), Loris Sanson (Silvia), Late Roberto Sanson, Lucy (Lee Marshall), Wilma Sanson. She will also be missed by her many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, and the USA; as well as her friends and neighbors. She came to Canada in 1955 to start a new life and with her loving husband Severino. She was an involved member in the Italian Women’s Club Giovanni Caboto Auxillary, Trevisani Nel Mondo, The Veneti Club. Her first employer after arriving in Canada was with former Essex Packers working in ham and bacon departments. She was a member of Local 195 and worked at Olsonite Eagle, Sheller-Globe and Emerick Plastics. She also worked weekends cooking for banquets at St. Angela Merici Hall. She had a tremendous love and passion for cooking for family and friends. Everyone loved the meals she made! She developed a taste for Canadian food as well. More specifically McDonald's. She loved life, family, and friendship. Making sure to keep contact with them on a regular basis, offering all the love and support that she could. The family asks that instead of sending flowers, send donations in memory of Teresa may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County. We wish to thank the good Samaritans who found our mother at her time of need, the paramedics and to the hospital staff in the ER and the ICU units at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus, your support and kindness was appreciated and desperately needed in these times. <br/><br/>Funeral Visitation at <br/>Windsor Chapel Central (519- 253-7234)<br/>1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.<br/>on Monday, June 15, 2020<br/><br/>Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens<br/><br/>Please contact the family directly to schedule your visitation appointment time.<br/>Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your reserved visitation appointment time, it is mandatory that you remain in your vehicle until your reserved time comes available - you may then enter the funeral home and follow the directions by the Funeral Home Staff. <br/>You must have a visitation reservation to be permitted to enter the funeral home. <br/>Please return to your vehicle immediately following your visitation appointment. There can be no congregating on funeral home property under the public health unit mandate. <br/><br/>The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has instituted the following directive: "The new maximum number of people who can be at a funeral home at one time (not including staff) is 10 or fewer.
