Obituary of Marjorie Brian

BRIAN, Marjorie ( nee Ghanam) With saddened hearts we say goodbye to our mother Marjorie, who passed away at the age of 76, on August 29, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. She joins her loving parents Donald Brian (1963) and Margaret Lucier (1999). She leaves behind her children Colleen Campeau, Marlene Poisson, Eileen Levenick (Carl), Brian and Robin Ghanam, Cathy Catanzaro (Dwayne) and their father James Ghanam. She loved being called Grammi by Cory, Mark and Michelle, Noah, Nazira, Candice, Chris, Blake (2004), Jake and Stephanie and daughter Lola, Dillon, Hannah, Zac, DJ and Joey. She will be watching over all of us. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Mary Ann Runft and Marlene Hartigan. Reunited with her brother Don (1990) and sister Mary Jo (2006). She will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews along with many good friends. For many years Marjorie was a registered nurse at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital and was involved in many community volunteer activities. She lived in Belle River and accomplished many great things in her lifetime. She loved traveling and playing bingo. We would like to thank Malden Park, all the Dr.'s and nurses, and especially Kelly Kopchuk, for their excellent care and support. Memorial Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Banwell Chapel) 519- 253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. at Banwell Rd. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. Memorial Service to take place Friday, September 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment of cremated remains to follow at St. Simon and St. Jude Cemetery (Belle River). As an expression of sympathy donations to the Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
