Fr Mike has known me since I was a little girl. He was an instrumental part of my life and inspired me "to be as great as God made to be". Fr. Mike was also beloved to those of us in the Scarlet Brigade Marching Band. We all loved when he was able to join us on parade. As an adult, Fr. Mike married me, christened my son (he was unable to christened my daughter to a car accident) and buried my father. He was loved by all of us. Fr. Mike, Fr. Damian, Fr. Walter and Fr. Bead were an inspiring team! Fr. Mike also recruited me in my youth ministry to share the expression of dance. Allowing children to be an integral part of our celebrations. His love for the youth and openness to their expression will be most remembered. Always in my heart and prayers he will stay. We have lost a very great man, peace and prayers to all of Fr.
