Obituary of Valerie Kocela

KOCELA, Valerie (nee Hickey) Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away peacefully on August 14, 2013 at the age of 82. Loving mother to Duane of Kincardine, Gary of Kelowna, Manuel of Windsor and John of Vancouver. Adored grandmother to Melissa, Christopher, Jennifer and Brelynne of Kincardine, Brenden of Kelowna, Kendall and Jackson of Vancouver. She will also be missed by 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Eunice Adshade and Joan Yates. Predeceased by brothers Bernie, Laurence, Bud, Rue, Pius, Harold, and sisters Mae Summers, Ann King, Kaye Babcock and Henrietta Gilliam. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff and friends at Met Hospital, Malden Park and the Royal Marquis Retirement Home for the care and concern shown to our mom. Cremation has taken place.
