Obituary of Milutin Serafimovski

SERAFIMOVSKI, Milutin (Mike) May 17, 1933 " August 7, 2013 It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mike, our beloved husband,father,and dedo. Beloved husband and best friend of 58 years to Cena (nee Stojanovski). Adored father to Mike and wife Vela and Tom and wife Judy. Cherished dedo to Steven, Mary, Kristi and Natali. Predeceased by parents Delo and Mara, brother Boris, and sisters Milica, Rosa and Bora. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews in Windsor, Michigan and Macedonia. Dad immigrated to Canada from Macedonia in 1969, where he spent his time working hard and enjoying life. With his family by his side, he purchased the Cozy Restaurant and worked there for 8 years. In 1977, he purchased the Cadillac Motel where he spent the last 36 years building and expanding his family business. Mike loved to socialize and spend time with his guests and costumers, and he treated every one of them like they were his family. A heartfelt thank you to Dr.David Scarfone, Dr. Yap, Dr. Sophia Thomas and Dr. Vail for your genuine and gentle care provided to Dad. A very special thank you to all the doctors and nursing staff on the second floor at Malden Park for your compassionate care provided to Dad and our family. E. on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m from the funeral home then to St. Nicholas Macedonian Orthodox Church (5225 Howard Ave.) for Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
