PARENT, Evelyn (nee Roy) Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital- Met Campus on July 31, 2013 at the age of 86 years. Born in Pain Court, ON. on May 14, 1927, daughter of Eugene Roy (1965) and Delphine Roy (nee Caron) (1956). Beloved spouse of the late Roland Parent (2005). Loving mother of Pierre and Lise Parent, Kingston; Gilles and Theresa Parent, Tecumseh; Richard Parent and Denise, Leamington and Roland R. Parent, Tecumseh. Devoted grandmother of Philippe & Erin (Kingston) and Vivienne (Kingston). Dear sister of Ernest Roy (1993), Wilfred (2006) and Norman (1987), Alice B"chard (2002). Survived by 2 sisters; Annette Strong and Jeannette Coffey. Dear daughter in-law of Ferdinand Parent (1985) and Eug"nie Parent (R"aume) (1964). Dear sister in-law of Edmond B"chard (1985), Bill Strong (1993) and Angie Papineau (2011), G"rard Parent (1989), Marguerite Parent (1998), Sylvain Parent (1995), Adrien Parent (1986), Marie Parent (1997), Madeleine Parent (2001), Bernadette Parent (2003), Nil Parent (1944), Omer Parent (2013), Fernand Parent (1978), Marcel Parent (1998), Ren"e Parent (2011), Fr"re Lucien Parent O.M.I. (1979), Rosaire Parent (1997), Genevi"ve Parent (1993) and Ren" Parent (1989). Survived by sisters in-law; Doris Parent, Rita Roy, Helen (Greg) Blonde, Marcelle Roy and brother in-law Pat Coffey. Godmother of Jean B. Parent, Rosalie Speal and Jacqueline Ague. Aunt to 67 nieces and nephews. Evelyn was a member of the R.T.O./ERO. She retired in 1986, after having taught for 40 years in the Tecumseh and Essex County area. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. Family and friends will be received on Saturday August 3, 2013 at St. Anne's Church (12233 Tecumseh Road East) in Tecumseh for visitation from 10:00 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Fr. Eug"ne Roy (Pastor) officiating. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne Cemetery.
