Obituary of Stanley Joseph Stanwick

STANWICK, Stanley Joseph Passed away peacefully with family at his side on July 12, 2013, at the age of 94. Survived by wife Carole Stanwick (1979-present) and pre-deceased by wife Lia (Vadori), married 1947-1977. Loving father of Lynda Stanwick Hijazi, Blake (Sally) Stanwick, Lois (Paul) Rindlisbacher and Lorene (Doug Hennessy) Stanwick. Dear step-father of Douglas, James, and Janice Green. Cherished grandfather to Adam, Mathew, Jenna, Elliot and Jessica. Survived by brother Joe (Alison). Pre-deceased by brothers Casey and Ted. Born 1918 in Melrose, Manitoba. Served in WWII Royal Canadian Army, Winnipeg Ordinance Corps. Worked at Ford Motor Company from 1942-1984, member Local 240 and Ford Retiree Association. Stanley was an avid bowler, golfer and fastball pitcher. Stan loved his family, enjoyed his life and was always happy to share a laugh.
