Obituary of Hector Joseph Lavigne

Lavigne, Hector Joseph Peacefully with his loving family by his side on July 2, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Loving husband of 21 years of Sonia (nee Henderson) and predeceased by his first wife Theresa (Chepieski) (1974) Beloved father to Andrew (Rika) Lavigne; Michael (Linda) Lavigne; Patrick (Shelly) Lavigne; Michael William Scott; the late Carol Ann and Gregory. Dear brother to Marilyn ( the late Gene) Ducette; Mabel (Clarence ) Clement; and Glen (Janet) Lavigne. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Lavigne was a veteran of WWII and a member of the Essex Kent Scottish Regiment, was a retiree of the Canadian Salt Mine, and a former baseball coach for Windsor East Little League. He will be sadly missed by the members of his fishing buddies (The cuckoo club) Resting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday July 5, 2013 from 7-9 pm. Funeral Service Saturday July 6, 2013 under the auspices of the WVMC will be held in the Chapel at 10:30 am. Cremation to follow.
