Obituary of John Anthony Hill

HILL, John July 26, 1942-June 25, 2013 Standing Tall with the Angels. Passed away peacefully at home in his sleep. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Chomyshyn) for 46 years. Proud father of Rosalyn Cusson & husband Daryl. Grandfather of Ryan, Cassandra Hill, Elizabeth Long and Devan Cusson. Great grandfather of Brooklyn Hill and Lily Bachmeier. Brother of Barbara Dixon & Wayne and uncle to Wesley Dixon of Aylmer, ON. Predeceased by mother Lily Tellier (2010), brother Joseph Hill (2009) and step dad Dennis Tellier (1992). Very dear friend of Moe Kolody, Gerry Bastien and Pete Mosceo. Much praise and thanks to Olga, his caregiver for 8 years and the Staff of ALSO and Alana and the many Doctors and Nurses who cared for him through his long illness. John retired from Chrysler Canada in 2001 after 38 years of service and was a member of Local 444. He was a Knight of Columbus at Good Shepherd Parish and Confirmed RCIA in 2003. Visiting on Friday June 28, 2013 at Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory's Site) (13789 St. Gregory Rd.) from 10:00 am until time of funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
