Nonna was the sweetest energizer bunny. I was always amazed by her energy and upbeat attitude towards life. Some of my fondest memories of Nonna consist of running into her at the mall fully dressed in heels and red lipstick, running into her walking the streets at Erie Festival and her infectious laugh as she raised her glass of vino at family gatherings. Nonna always treated me with the same generosity and kindness that she treated her own granddaughters. At my cousins birthday parties she would always remember to bring me a little something too (Like a pack of smarties) so that I wasn’t left out ! Nonna will be missed by many. We will always try our best to recreate her pasta sauce to the perfection that she made it and call it our “Nonna sauce”. Rest In Peace, Nonna. You are so loved.
