Obituary of Alvin Edward Chevalier

CHEVALIER, Alvin It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear and delightful dad, Alvin, at the young age of 92. Husband of the late Rose (Laframboise). Father of Sr. Suzanne of London, Alvin (Carol) of Windsor, Frank (Brenda) of LaSalle, Gerry (Jill) of London, Tom (Linda) of Amherstburg, and the late John (2007). Youngest brother to Edna, Alice, Louise, and Lawrence & Madeline. He is the proud grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. We would like to express thanks to the Sister of St. Joseph in London for so warmly welcoming Dad into their home, and for the loving attention from the Care Centre staff. Visitation for Dad will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Friends and relatives are invited to gather at Most Precious Blood Church 1947 Meldrum Rd. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until Celebration of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations made in memory of Alvin to the Sisters of St. Joseph in London are welcomed and greatly appreciated by the family.
