Obituary of Mary Catherine Malette

MALETTE, Mary Catherine "Cathy" (nee Soulliere) February 25, 1949-May 23, 2013 Cherished wife of the late Ligouri "Al" Malette (October 4, 2010). Loving sister of Dorothy (the late John) Kungel, Elaine (Ernie) Garant, Jim (Marie) Soulliere, Paul (Rosanne) Soulliere, Patrick (Linda) Soulliere, and Vicki (John) Pawlowski. Cathy is predeceased by her parents Maurice & Ida Soulliere and siblings Maurice (Deanna) Soulliere, John (Deanna) Soulliere, Mary Leona (Gary) Snyder, Billy (Carol) Soulliere, Charlie (Karen) Soulliere, June Soulliere. Loved sister in-law of Denise (Denis)Casey, Lola Hall, Gilbert Malette, and niece Elizabeth (Andrew) Russell. Special Aunt to Chris Bower. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She really enjoyed the company of her neighbours. She will be remembered for her devoted compassion and care of her husband over the years. Cathy had a great love for books and sharing them with others. Visitation for Cathy will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In Cathy"s memory, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, Windsor Essex Humane Society, or the charity of one"s choice.
