Obituary of Daniel Belovitz

BELOVITZ, Daniel Passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2013 at the age of 103 years. Loving father of Lilly Ann Spolarich (Matthew). Cherished grandfather of Pamela Plante (Norman), Gregory Spolarich (Cheryl) of Lucan Ontario and Douglas Spolarich (Pamela) of Florida. Beloved great grandfather of Michael Plante, Natalie Messina (James), Jason Spolarich and Hailey Spolarich. Predeceased by his father Michael, mother Elena and brothers Nikita, Simon, Eustin and Peter all of Belorussia. Daniel worked for the City of Windsor Parks Dept. for 20 years and was proprietor of the Airport House and the Embassy Hotel. He was a past member of the Hotel Association. Daniel was a WWII Veteran and a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Daniel was also President of Resident Council of Extendicare Tecumseh Place. Veterans service under the Auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee on Tuesday May 14, 2013 at 7:00pm. Funeral service in the chapel on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at 11am.
