Obituary of Vera Irene Wheeler

WHEELER, Vera Irene (nee Clarke) A resident of Windsor, Vera passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2013, at the age of 88. Born in London ON, daughter of the late Jack & Violet Clarke. Beloved wife of Gerald "Gerry" Wheeler. Loving mother of Wayne Canoy. Proud Nanny of Jim Canoy, Gerry Canoy and Kim Canoy and great Nanny of Chris, Joshua, Shane, Jeremy, Dante, and Tessa. Predeceased by her brother Richard and sister Margaret. Vera is remembered by many nieces and nephews. Vera was a bookkeeper for Dominion Stores for 25 years before enjoying her retirement. She was a long time member of St. Rose of Lima Church. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E at Banwell Rd. on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
