OFNER, Mathias "Max" Born to the late Julius and Maria Ofner on September 8, 1935 in Parabutsch, Yugoslavia. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather on April 10, 2013. Loving husband of Eleanor for 53 years. Beloved father of Richard(Julie), Robert(Donna) and Anne Marie Norton(Joseph). Dear grandfather of Ashley, David, Erich, Jaime, Claire, Genna and Angela. Brother of Joseph(Magdalena) and brother-in-law of Margaret and Jack(2003).Uncle to Jim, Marianna, John, Donna and Larry. Max started in the Tool & Die Industry in 1953 with SKD in Amherstburg. He then went on to Windsor Tool & Die where he stayed for 53 years. He was the proud founder of Manor Tool and Die Ltd., Sigma Engineering Inc., and Lakeshore Stamping Inc. Max will be remembered for his innovative spirit and his dedication to the Tool & Die and Stamping Industry.Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd.
