Obituary of Ida Mary Dame

Ida Dame (Ruggaber) Our beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother died peacefully in her home on February 22 at the age of 92. Wife of the late Leonard Dame, 1996. Devoted mother of Randy and Sandra Dame, Susan and Michael Rock, Lynn and Danny Hayes, and Marty and Anne Dame. Loving grandmother of Kelly and Ed Maitre, Ken and Lise Dame, Lori and Ray Simard Jr., Katie and Chad Mactier, Jennifer and Greg Levack, Rebecca and Andre Lariviere, Billy and Brittany Rock, Stephen and Megan Rock, Elizabeth and Mike Baillargeon, Jason Hayes and Marcelina Salazar, Jeremy and Allison Hayes, Cody Hayes, James Lauriault, Chris Dame, Brian and Jenn Dame, and Emily Dame. Proud great-grandmother of Joe, Amy, Ashley, Cassie, Kevin, Nicholas, Hunter, Dylan, Brandon, Nathan, Clara, Jordyn, Cohen, Colton, Austen and Kaiah. Daughter of the late Nicholas and Florence Ruggaber. Sister of Rose McAuley and the late Emile Ruggaber, Helen Shanahan and Gertrude Ruggaber. Sister-in-law of Patricia Brode, Bernadette Vermette, Hank Langlois, and the late Anne Ruggaber, Des McAuley, Ray -Shanahan, Ted Dame, Theresa Langlois, Kathleen and Andre Lauzon, Joe Brode and Mert Vermette. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thank you to her longtime caregivers Leona and Jen. She will be fondly remembered for her strength, her frankness, her humour and her many talents and dedication to all her family. Tuesday February 26, 2013 from 2-5pm and 7-9 pm. Prayers Tuesday at 8pm. Everyone is requested to meet at Good Shepherd Parish (St. Gregory Site) on Wednesday February 27, 2013 for Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Burial to follow at St. Anne"s Cemetery.
