Obituary of Theresa Mary O'Keefe

O'KEEFE- Theresa Mary (Nee Fauteux) It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Theresa on January 21, 2013 at the age of 97 in London, ON. Formerly of Sandwich East Township and Tilbury, Theresa was born July 17, 1915, the eldest daughter of John and Rose Fauteux. Dear sister of Josephine, Sylvia and Alec (Jean), cherished mother of Bernice, proud Gram of granddaughters Kerrie (John), Jennie (Chris) and great grandchildren Jesse, Elise and Lucie. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by beloved husband Bernard, devoted son Gordon (Oct 18,2012), brothers George, Denis, Alvin and sisters Jeannette and Gladys. Theresa was an extraordinary lady, blessed with the Fauteux family joie de vie, she had a gentle sense of humor and love of laughter. She also possessed a calming inner strength that we so often leaned on, most recently with the untimely loss of our beloved Gordon. The family would like to thank all the healthcare professionals for their compassionate and expert care that she received throughout her illness. Visitation will continue on Monday January 28, 2013 at St. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E, Tecumseh) from 10am until mass of Christian burial for both Theresa and her son Gordon at 10:30 am.
