Obituary of Margaret Rose Parent

PARENT, Margaret (nee Brechun) Margaret"s earthly journey has ended. On Tuesday January 15, 2013, surrounded by her loving family and in the arms of her beloved husband Ray, she slipped peacefully away. Her three sons, Jeffrey (Lisa), Christopher (Kristine), and Jason (Michelle) cherish the memories of her love and dedication to all of their needs and special interests over the years. She loved being there for her boys, especially during her many years as a drum corps mom, serving meals, travelling and cheering on her sons.Margaret is now a special guardian angel to her seven grandchildren, ACE and JJ, Nicolas, Delaney and Jaxon, and Meadow and Summer.Margaret"s memory and legacy will live on forever through treasured stories and photographs. Her strong family values and traditions will be a great comfort to her family today and guide them in the future.Sharing in their loss is her sister Diana Roy, loved sister in-law of Marilyn Brechun, Ron Parent (Wendy 2006), Carol and Ian McLeod, Elaine Boccioletti, Susan and Scott Douglas, Wayne and Lilian Parent and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Rose and Zenon Brechun and brother Donald. A very special thank you to Margaret"s extended family at Banwell Gardens. Her private duty caregivers, especially Flora and Karen went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to caring for Margaret. The memory of your constant love and attention over the past six years will ease our grief today, cherish our memories of yesterday and support us all in the future. Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday January 19, 2013 at Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) from 10:00am until time of funeral mass at 11:00am.
